Environmental Changes Affecting Life Cycle

Environmental changes have always happened. The imbalance between incoming radiation and outgoing radiation in the atmosphere affects the life cycle. Human activities are the major cause of environmental changes which are affecting the lifestyle. As the researchers said, there will be a rise in temperature up to 5.4C by 2100.

Environmental Changes Affecting Life

Human activities are a serious threat to the ecosystem, health, and biodiversity. Technology has revolutionized the lifestyle but becomes a stimulus to environmental changes. The ozone layer is becoming thin day by day due to human interventions. So, we should be ready for the consequences.

Unseasonal rains have wreaked havoc in China. This is happening due to the climate changes in the country. The flash flood in Central China's "Henan Province" has reported 99 deaths till now. Beijing is facing serious threats of extreme weather. The "National Development and Reform Commission"(China's top economic planning body) has warned the government to shut the schools and subways due to extreme weather threats. There is uncertainty surrounding running the businesses physically.

The Wildfire in Turkey has sparked a new debate on the environmental changes in the country. Turkey has broken the 60-year-old temperature record. A town in the South-East recorded 49.1C temperature. The blaze across different provinces soaring up the heat. The heat intensity has increased 4 times higher than previous records.

According to World Health Organization(WHO), environmental change is expected to cause approximately 250,000 additional deaths per year. The direct damage costs to health are estimated to be between USD 2-4 billion per year by 2030.

The environmental changes will continue and are primarily dependent upon the amount of heat-trapping gases emitted globally. The temperature will continue to rise and will not be smooth over time.

EFFECTS OF ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES:

The long-term environmental changes will affect the life cycle of humans as well as animals. Some of the major environmental changes are as follows,

1. Changes in Rainfall Patterns:

The rain patterns have increased in some areas of the world while having decreased in some other areas of the world. The average precipitation rate has increased due to these changes. So, It leads to floods and destruction in the world.

Average U.S. precipitation has increased since 1900. More winter and spring precipitation is projected for the northern United States, and less for the Southwest, over this century.

2. Rise of Sea Level:

As the temperature is rising, ice lands are melting and increasing the seawater. The storm's heaves and high tides can increase flooding in many regions of the world. According to the reports, Sea level will rise 1-8 feet by 2100.Sea level will continue to rise because it takes much time to respond to warmer conditions.

3. Frost-Free Season:

The winter season is decreasing due to the continuous increase in temperature. The increase in frost-free season affecting the agriculture system severely. As a result, the growing season continues to lengthen.

The right weather is not available for crop preparation. It is becoming the biggest cause of diseases. Crops are not getting healthy fruits due to untimely growth.
